Open the door to sustainable living with a zero waste home tour by Tammy Logan of Gippsland Unwrapped.

You will be welcomed into Tammy’s home to inspect firsthand the choices that allow her to live ‘zero waste’, plastic and palm oil free.

Tammy will share her passion and knowledge of reducing household waste whilst creating a home that is comfortable to live in, cheaper to run, and healthier for your family.

You will receive unbiased advice, stories of what worked, what didn’t and various alternative solutions as you move through the house and surrounds. It’s a chance to see how all the refusing, reducing, reusing, recycling, and composting fit together under one roof.

This tour is suitable for anyone, whether you live in the country or city, with family or alone, on a tight budget or not, and whether you have support from others in your home or not.

The number of participants will be kept small to allow for in-depth discussion and meaningful outcomes for all participants. You are encouraged to share your experiences, successes and challenges.

Zero waste tour group

Thank you for opening up your home today for us to look around. Your home and surrounds are beautiful. It was lovely to see such an uncluttered space with no overwhelming, unnatural smells. And so organised as well – a place for everything which would make it easier to aim for zero waste. I loved that you were so open about your experience and it was helpful for me to see how your family has negotiated the zero waste lifestyle. I also appreciated the message of doing what you can and accepting some compromises. I’m very much an all-or-nothing person so am always working on this. I have a lot of googling to do to follow up on the ideas and products I was inspired by today. I would definitely recommend your tour to others.” Katherine Webster, Warragul.

“It was so great to see how each room works. And exactly as you said it is like any other home-just with more sustainable choices. It made me feel much less overwhelmed and like it would be very easy for me to have a home like this 🙂 I picked up lots of great ideas and am writing them all down now while they are fresh in my mind.”  Penny White, Burwood.
