  1. Hi Tammy
After meeting you at a Council sustainability talk a couple of years ago, I have continued to follow your informative posts. Love your work!
I remember at the talk you mentioned you were trialing some deodorant recipes, and while great, you hadn’t found a recipe to stand up to the rigours of sport perspiration. I wanted to let you know that I have been using Magnesium Oil as my deodorant and find this works well for me. Our bodies are often deficient in magnesium so it’s not only acting as a deodorant but the body absorbs the magnesium for muscle repair etc.
Admittedly I haven’t done research to ensure that the magnesium is ethically and sustainably sourced etc but the company is Australian. I use ‘Premium Transdermal Magnesium Oil’ by Magnesium Australia (www.magnesiumaustralia.com.au). The product isn’t cheap…I pay $95 for 1 litre but am happy to pay for a product that has a dual purpose. Thought this may be of some interest to you.
    Cheers
    Maree

    1. Thank you Maree, this is interesting to me and I will keep it in mind to look for some magnessium oil to try. I had pretty much given up on deodorants and don’t use anything at all now but I really would like to find something that works for certain occasions.
