I was in Yarragon on the weekend and discovered the Yarragon Craft and Produce Market was on so I went for a look. I haven’t been able to get to markets for a while so it was nice to wonder around and find a reasonable amount of plastic free and package free things on offer. I was especially pleased to find unpackaged beeswax. I also picked up a shampoo bar, soaps, and soy scents. Plus I noticed the beautiful wooden toys and I met The Nut Bloke who encourages people to bring reusable bags/jars/containers to buy dried fruits, nuts, and more. This is just an example of how it pays to be mindful of the things you need and organised enough to take advantage of unexpected opportunities. It’s also good for us to share and support all the places in Gippsland that offer package free products.
